new adventure...

...i have yet to reveal are new adventure. Maybe because when it goes down in writing it is a for sure thing. Well here it goes...we are moving to Longview, WA. Brian accepted a job in the longview area and actually started working this week. It is a huge advancement for him in his career, and I'm really proud of him for taking it on. We of course have lots of details to iron out, I will try and keep you all posted as they come along. But in the meantime we are just missing each other!

calving season on the ranch...

all these mama cows are expected to calf anyday. we were hoping to see a few new babies on our visit, but they decided to be stubborn...darn them mama's!!!

Thanks Pat and Ada for hanging with us on Valentines Day!

We had lots of fun watching the pooches play at the wildlife refuge, and the swanky corvallis happy hour bar was a hit as well. I think Brian and I even finshed the rest of the chocolate covered strawberries and rasphberries before we went to bed....we both have a little addiction to chocolate!

Good Times in Seattle!

Sarah and Greg sure showed us a good time in the city!

We were able to make it up in time on Thursday night for Brian to play in a poker tournament with Greg's friends. We enjoyed lots of good food on our visit as well, Sarah made some fantastic meals and then we also enjoyed some great resterants and coffee houses. Sarah and Greg's friends happened to be hosting a dinner party for there group of friends this weekend, so we were able to join in on the fun. Although the weather was crisp most of the weekend, we were still able to go for a hike at Discovery Park.

We took the long way home on Sunday to check out some area's of Washington...Alonzo crew, we will have to catch you next time!
