dad turn's 60!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

we were all able to suprise dad with a birthday weekend bash at uncle tom and aunt karen's in summer lake, oregon. we ate really good food at the cowboy dinner tree, soaked at the hot springs, fished at the fish farm, went for walks, loaded bullets, sighted in guns, tanned hide...you name it we did it!!! it was great to see everyone and catch up a bit, i only wish we could get together more often. thanks uncle tom and aunt karen for the hospitality!

happy birthday tyler!!!

...tyler is turning 6 this saturday and we are going to be out of town for my dad's 60th birthday. so, since we can't make it to the golf party, we decided to spoil the kids for the day. we started out seeing a movie and eating LOTS of popcorn, then we went to the park and has lost of fun playing and tyler even got a few bull rides from allie! we then made a quick stop at trader joes, where they picked out any candy or cookie they wanted and we picked up a few groceries in the process. :) tyler's pick for dinner was applebee's and then we had ice cream on our way home at dairy queen.

it was a super fun day hanging out with the niece and nephew....thanks for such a great time mck and tyler!

it was so funny watching charlie push the kids in the wheelbarrow! they had the funnest facial expressions...i think i like this! we can even ride double...

Snowshoeing at Big Springs!

we ventured out to big springs snow park to do some snowshoeing and skiing in celebration of lucy's b-day. it snowed the whole day, which made for a gorgeous new blanket of snow for us to play around in!
