we had a very productive long weekend of remodeling, thanks to brian's mom and dad, and we even hired a personal chef for the weekend...my sister sarah! if you haven't had a chance to experience sarah's cooking you are really missing out. we ate some incredible food and had lots of leftovers to finish up throughout the week. brian's grandma iris also sent up a pot of chili, a huge bag of dried bananas and her super perfect and famous cookies! i have never seen anyone make such perfect uniform cookies...i don't know how she does it! she is amazing!
paul and tony were such a great help this weekend...they were the best work horses ever!!! i don't think we can thank them enough for all of there hard work. they did anything from scrapping moss of the roof to helping paint the whole entire house from top to bottom. hopefully when they come to visit next time they won't have to sleep on cots! :)

as you can see from the following posts and pictures we are making great headway on our "diamond in the rough!" the hardwood floor guys should finish laying the new floor in the kitchen this week and by the end of next week all the floors should be refinished! we ordered new windows yesterday, so they should be here in a few weeks and after the windows are installed we will give the outside a new look! we of course still have lots to do as far as fishing painting, installing doors and cabinets, rewiring new light fixtures, and we haven't even started on the bathroom yet! some days i wonder if we will ever get everything done, it is sure lots of work! brian is coming home to b'ville this weekend, which we are both excited about...i think he needs a break! well, that is the latest and greatest update on the tenbusch's...hope you enjoy the following pics, i posted lots!
