i can't believe i'm going to say this, but i really enjoyed the rainy sunday. after an intense day of remodel projects on saturday, it was nice to get out side and enjoy the august rain. we meet up with the macdonalds at the tillamook state forestry center for a refreshing hike in the rain...it was fabulous!

after returning home from the hike, the rain was still coming down, so i decided to get domestic. i had some rhubarb in the fridge from the neighbors and some strawberries that i picked this june in the freezer. so i made one of my favorites, strawberry rhubarb pie!!! i tried a new pie crust from Farm Chicks and it was tasty.
knowing that brian and i didn't couldn't eat a whole pie, we decided to share with some of our neighborhood friends...it was a great relaxing way to end the weekend.

You were right the pictures are so great! Good work photographer I love them and its sad but those are the first pictures of Payton, Gwynn and I since he was born! Good work auntie!
