back at it!

we are starting to get back into our normal routine after an awesome long holiday weekend with family. we left wednesday night and returned home on monday night. it is so nice to check out of the normal routine for awhile and enjoy good food and long visits with family.
first stop was the tenbusch house, were we had an incredible thanksgiving feast. check out this thanksgiving morning sunrise...this was the view from there back deck looking over the river! what a gorgeous morning it was!!!

next stop was the ranch....were we had such a great relaxing time. you forget how nice it is to be out in the country where there is no internet or cell phone services. it is funny how the older i get the more i miss it, those little things we take for granted when we are younger.
grandpa and evelyn...
farmer ed!
evelyn and i spent most of the time outside, she loved all the fresh air and stayed cozy in her one piece suit in the stroller.
it seems that it is starting to become a thanksgiving tradition to do burning when we visit. i guess its just the right time of year. :)

I don't care if nobody else agrees, but in the "just looking cute" photo, Evie looks just like you Libby! She is so cute! Love all the pics with her and the family. And, by the way, you look like one-hot-mama! :)
