a little bit spoiled!

i hope all you mommy's out there got spoiled for mothers day, i know i sure did! it was so much fun celebrating my first mothers day, i think i like this holiday. :) i spent saturday in corvallis with my mom and sisters, we went to the farmers market and then pretty much just enjoyed the sunshine the rest of the day. my mom brought me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers which has been making the house smell so yummy! on sunday we started the day out by making strawberry waffles and sausage for brian's mom and family. then brian, evelyn and i headed over to sisters for the day. i can't tell you how good it fills to be only an hour and a half from central oregon again! i'm so excited about that!!!! brian had scheduled me a massage at five pine...which was awesome, it was so great to just relax a bit. we then had a early dinner and drove up to the head of the metolious river. it was so great that we could do all that in one day and still be back in time to put evie to bed. can you tell that we are already loving being back in oregon??!! even though brian spoiled me on mothers day, i think the best present was watching miss evie walk across the living room!!! i can't believe she started walking on mothers day, what a perfect treat! although it is a little bittersweet watching my tiny baby grow up so fast, wasn't she just born??!! even more crazy to think she will be 1 in a few weeks!
thank you miss evelyn and brian for making my first mothers day so special...i love you both!!!
i know i haven't posted much lately, but i haven't got my computer hooked up to the internet yet, so its a little hard to down load pics and such. and lets just say we have been busy! i have some fun pics to share from the two 3oth birthdays we attended over the last few weekends, so stay tuned for those.
it has been so great spending so much time with friends and family the last few weekends, it seems like when the sun comes out our schedules get booked with parties and such which is great. i guess that is one reason we love summer and the sunshine! :)
