we had an incredible sunny day on monday with the temperature reaching the low 50s. it was just what i needed after a week of evelyn and i being sick and stuck at home. thankfully we are in recovery mode now and enjoying playing in all the snow we had today! :)
guess what i have been reading???

yep, you guessed it, this awesome cowboy romance novel by pioneer women "black heals to tractor wheels." if you don't know about
pioneer women, you should check her out. she started a blog in 2006 about her hilarious
transition from city life to ranch wife. i started reading her blog back when she first started blogging and then she started writing about how her and her cowboy husband met, which let to this steamy romance novel. ;)
brian got me the book for valentines which was a
monday and i had it finished by
saturday...it was a great distraction to being stuck at home sick. and it was just so good i couldn't put it down! ;) one of the review was, "that's it. i want a cowboy!" so i do
recommend reading and do tell me if you want cowboy!!! :)
this old girl is gone...
brian finally decided to part with his nova after owning it for sixteen years. his dad bought it for him when he was fourteen and it was his daily driver through high school and then just a fun car to drive. as he was telling his high school buddies (which spent lots of time riding and doing burn outs in the car) about selling the old girl, one of them made the comment that
i'm sure who ever bought it will get lots of burn outs in it! i guess
brian's burn out days are over! don't worry he has already purchased his newest toy, this one is a little more family friendly and we are really looking forward to using it this summer!!! :)
ps-remember the half
marathon i ran back in
september...well lulu lemon was suppose to send us all shorts for completing are half
marathon. but low and be hold we never got them, in fact after waiting six months i had given up. but your not going to
believe what came in the mail on
monday...a $60 dollar gift card from lulu lemon! so now i can pick out my own shorts! that works for me...thank you lulu lemon for finally pulling through!
