look at these two cuties...aren't they festive and cute?!
the carter's joined us on the 4th for some bbq at our local coffee shop, yummy ice cream cones and of course the awesome fireworks at the brownsville park.
we watched a really great parade in harrisburg with brian's family...here is miss e waiting for some candy :)

we took the boat out to the lake on saturday with sarah and a few of her seattle friends that came to visit. 
and guess what we got to go SWIMMING!!! the sun was out and it was the perfect temperature to jump into the lake!

it was great to stay home for the holiday weekend. we had so many great things to do in our area that is was nice to just be home and enjoy them. i hope you all had a great 4th of july!!!
