snow day!!!

we woke up to an inch on snow on tuesday and miss e was beyond excited!  by the time it was daylight and we were geared up to go play most of the snow at the house has melted.  evelyn was determined that she was going to build a snowman,  so we decided to load up in the truck and head about 5 miles up on the mountain.  i'm glad we did because there was lots more snow and it was the perfect kind to make a snowman!

 it was snowing pretty hard when we got there, and amelia wasn't sure she liked the snow in her face...

 as evelyn would say, "were making the biggest snowman ever!"

 and what a cute snowman he was....

 then it was sledding time!!!

i think miss e's smile was as big as monkey's on her hat!

 what a fun snow day we had with our little lady's.   the snow really makes it feel like christmas is coming.  i don't think we will have a white christmas, but is was fun to have snow for a day! :)
