what a great mudders day weekend we had! yes, you read it right, "mudders" day....that's how miss e says it and we thought it was so cute to hear that we started saying it! :)
the girls and i spent friday treating my mom to a special day of fun. then saturday we made dinner for brian's mom and enjoyed a summer evening by the river with his siblings and families. then sunday brian had a day planned, but it was a secret! :)
yummy brunch and a hike at suttle lake was the secret!

the girls found lots of treasures on the hike...notice the pine needles in evelyn's hand... that was her broom and we even put a handle on it when we got home! such a creative girly!
miss e was so into mudders day! in fact she made up a song and sang it to me over and over again. i think it went something like this, "you are my mudder, until you say goodbye"
and this handsome man is the reason i get to stay home and be a mudder to my sweet girls...thanks babe!
so happy mudders day to all those special mama's out there, you are all amazing!!!!
