Evelyn's turns 6!!!

wow, time is flying by these days.  i have been a little MIA recently, but the onlyu excuse i have is that we have been playing and celebrating way to much! :)

my sweet 6 year old!

this girl is my sweet, caring, sensitive, smart little lady! she has the biggest heart and is the best helper and big sister!  i'm a lucky mama to call her mine! :)

evelyns's request for her birthday was to go to the american girl doll store in seattle.  we decided to bust in out over memorial weekend (lots of pics to come).  the girls had lots of fun and evelyn bought the doll of the year "grace" and they both got matching outfits!  oh to be a little girl again!

we had a doll party to celebrate our girl...they made hats for their dolls and animals.

they turned out soo cute!

an eagle named baldy even came to the party! :)

it was a gorgeous sunny day, we had an area on the lawn that had doll strollers, clothes, highchairs, etc. for all those special dolls that came to the party! :)

i hung some panels of doll clothes fabric with some vintage handkerchiefs from my wedding for some added fun!

evelyn's menu request was meatball sandwiches with salad and strawberry rhubarb pie!  we also had lots of number 6  sugar cookies and chocolate strawberries.  i think it was a hit because we didn't have many leftovers! :)  i love how she picks a menu for me, it makes my job so much easier!

it was a great party celebrating our 6 year old girl!  thanks to everyone that came and celebrated with us!  she is a lucky girl to have so many special friends and family that love her!
