we went backpacking in the eagle cap wilderness to celebrate our first anniversary. our destination was mirror lake, it is located right in the middle of the lakes basin. it was an 8 mile trek in and 2500 feet elevation gain. we had an incredible time relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. after a couple nights of camping and back packing we ventured into joseph to attend the rodeo and stay at a bed and breakfast. it was a great way to end the weekend.
