we had an awesome long weekend at the ranch. Evie loved being outdoors changing irrigation or riding in the mule! She is going to have so much fun enjoying the ranch the older she gets. She was also a great traveler, we only stopped once on our drive down and our last night there she slept through the night, I think we wore her out!
grandpa and evie...

the weather was gorgeous...

alexis holding evie for the first time...

grammy and evie...

the calf in the back ground was born the same day as evie. gale had called me the day it was born and told me that the old cow that they were going to send to the auction for hamburger had a calf, she thought it was the perfect day for me to have my baby and it was! (they didn't think the old mama cow was pregnant that's why she was going to the auction, it would have been a bummer if they sold her pregnant!)

talking a walk and enjoying the crisp early mornings...

notice allie in the driveway...she had the time of her life, it fact when it was time to head home she was hiding on the deck! i think she wants to live in the country!

Looks like a great trip but I want to compare how much stuff you had to pack for the new addition!? She is so cute. Grandpa's Bronco is pretty sweet....boy that looks an awful lot like Browntucky??!!
i love that calf story. i had not heard about that. super cute. i guess evie has her own cow already...that one is going to have to stick around for awhile :) kat
