trick or treat!

guess what i was? miss evelyn was a sweet pea for the first part of the night. she kept busting out of the sweet pea costume and didn't like being in the sleeping bag like sack that wouldn't let her kick her legs, so she had a costume change :)

we had a little pre-halloween party at mom and jim's early in the day. Mom made lunch and the kids played and frosted cookies.

frosting cookies...we made grandma gale's famous sugar cookie recipe and cut out pumpkins and cows (thanks dad and gale for the super cute cow cookie cutter, evelyn loves it!)

(her second costume of the night...gwynn and payton both wore the bear costume when they were little. it was a much cozier outfit!)

aunt lucy made a quick appearance and then she was off to a halloween party...she was dressing up as a roller derby girl!

we went to bridgeport with the macdonald clan later in the evening for trick or treating...it was so much fun seeing all the kids in costumes

the cutest horse ever...i absolutely loved payton's costume, as did everyone else. it was such a great rugged looking horse costume, he didn't have anything on under it but a diaper so sometimes a little bit of chest hair would show when the zipper was down a bit! :)

bear cub was entertained by kitty and horsey all night!

the joke of the night was that payton couldn't stop horse'in around...come on i know your laughing!!!

we even had a guest appearance by the navarro family...they were in town for the beavers game. it was so great to see them...look how cute they are in their beaver gear!
