evie also got the sweetest first valentine card from her great grandma...it even had money in it. brian thought we could maybe get her a new teething toy with it! :) aunt rachel sent evelyn a valentine card with a picture of a dog on it that has a kids sled on its head for a hat and everytime she looks at it she starts laughing...she is really into dogs lately!on saturday we meet brian's sisters family at the great wolf lodge water park for a super fun day of playing. it is only an hour north of us, so it was a perfect reason to hang out with our niece makenzie and nephew tyler....we just don't get to see them enough!

at the water park miss evie got yet another valentine treat...super cute new hair clips and a new book. she is really into books right now, i'm looking forward to having a new one to read. :) thanks mck and tyler for the valentine treat!!!
we got home late satruday night and there was a package waiting at our front door...and these fun things were waiting for the little miss.
a new bib, plate and fun frog toy...thank you gwynn and payton, miss evie loves her new valentine treats!!!
our valentines day was pretty low key, we made a yummy breakfast and then i was off to soccer practice. evelyn picked out some really cute new jewelry for me for valentines...thanks sweet girl i love it! we barbecued some tuna for dinner and i made a coconut cream pie. it just seemed easier to be home celebrating love bird day, especially with a little one! 
i hope you all got lots of sweet valentines and love notes...i know we did!

Wow, what a special first Valentine's Day! Great Wolf Lodge?? How are you going to top that next year!?? Glad you had a great time last weekend. Little Miss Evie really scored!
Ummm...that cream pie looks amazing! Any left? I could be there in a few hours! :) Glad to hear you guys had such a good weekend, looks like Evie's first V-day was a success!
