ringing in the new year at sunriver!

we spent new years weekend at sunriver celebrating paul (brian's dad) turning 60! it snowed the day we drove over, so there was just a enough snow to play in and make everything look white and pretty. some of the locals were saying that this is the least amount of snow they have had in 14 years! i'm just glad it snowed a tiny bit for us.
the crew out for a walk...
we went on some really long walks while we there and at one point miss e was falling asleep sitting up! we layed her down on her coat and she slept for hours! grandpa paul the birthday boy with grandma tony and grand kids (minus amelia)cousins...and she fell asleep again...what a little snug bug!i love older cousins who take my little lady swimming! thanks mic!there was this really cool surf ride you could do at the swim center. tyler and uncle jeff tried it and loved it! you could lay down or stand up, so you can only imagine the wipe outs people had. :)our little monkey loves to look for toe lint...silly girl! :)
all in all it was a great weekend enjoying family and the outdoors. thanks paul and tony!
we are trying to get back into the routine of things after all the holiday partying. :) miss amelia finally caught her sisters croup this week, so she has been keeping me busy with lots of cuddle time. its so hard to see them so young be sick. i think evelyn was 2 before she ever had to take medicine, so its hard to see our littlest lady struggle so much lately. miss a turned 3 months on new years...can you believe it? i can't, were did the time go?! even though she is sicky, she is still our smiley girl. :)

Looks like a great time for the celebration! Hopefully you're little ones are recuperating.
