ahh sunshine on mother's day!

the weather man must have heard me, all i wanted for mothers day was sunshine!  and boy did we get it!  brian and my little ladies planned a fun day for me and the sunshine that went with it was perfect.  we had a tasty brunch on the dock of suttle lake boat house and then hiked the trail around  suttle lake.  it was perfect!  two of my favorite things; hiking and good food with my favorite ladies and hubby!   after soaking up lots of sun by the lake we ventured up the metelious river to camp sherman for ice cream.  i think the metelious river is one of my favorites, there is just something about the river with all those big pine trees around.  next stop was the fish hatchery, by this time both girls were asleep in the back seat, so we decided to head for home and visit the fish hatchery next time.

thanks hubby for such a great day!  i couldn't have asked for anything better!!!

i hope all you mama's out there got spoiled a bit because you deserve it!  i do think being a mama is the best job in the world, its also the hardest, but i wouldn't trade it for anything! :)
