pioneer picnic weekend!

one of brownsville's big events of year is the pioneer picnic.  we hadn't been in a few years, so it was fun to stick around town and enjoy all that they had going on.  gwynn, payton, and evelyn had a camp out at aunt sas's house on friday.  they are so funny when there all together, i think they officially wore out aunt sas! :)
here they all are showing off their hats they made for the kids parade...

evelyn and sas entered flowers in the flower show...miss e won second place with her bouquet! :)

saturday night they had a 10k race...it was the hottest race i have ever ran!!!  i normally run in the morning, so running at 6pm in the 90 temps, was tough.
tiffany joined in on the run, we both did awesome!  she was the first girl in for the 10k and i was just a few seconds behind her!  we ROCKED IT!!!  thanks tiff for the fun HOT run!!!
saturday morning was the grand parade...loved all the old tractors!

did you know that they made diesel porsche tractors?!  here is one with a cute lady driving it!

 this tractor makes ice cream!
morning cuddle time with the cousins...the macdonald clan stayed saturday night with us, so evelyn got lots and lots of play time in with her cousins!

i love these next two pictures!
gwynn was giving her dad his fathers day present that she had made at school.  i love those homemade gifts from school, she put so much thought and humor into hers.

our special guy and his girls giving him presents on fathers day...
and we couldn't end the post with our some cute pics of this sweet face...
love you so much amelia baby!!!
hope you all had a wonderful fathers day weekend.  i know we are lucky house of girls to have such great dads, father-in-laws, and grandpas.  dads really do play an amazing role in helping us become who we are...happy dads day!
