we arrived home late thursday night from an incredibly sunny and amazing vacation with our girlies! we stayed at rancho las palmas resort, it was everything we expected and wanted for our vacation. a perfect place to enjoy the sunshine with lots of things for the kids to enjoy!

a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine....at night there was fire pits lite up all around this area to enjoy.
right outside our room was the an area they call spashtopia....it had two water slides a lazy river, and sandy beach for the kids. it was the perfect place to hang out with girls and drink poolside margaritas! :)
one day we ventured our to the living dessert museum. it was like our zoo here in oregon, but also had lots of desert gardens to check out.

it got pretty hot while we were visiting the desert, so we enjoyed the shade from some of the gardens...

it was a full moon while we were there, the evening sky was gorgeous!
the moon and sun set right outside our balcony, it made for really pretty evenings....
the golf course was a great place for morning walks while we were waiting for it to warm up so we could spend the day swimming. :)

this girl would play for hours and hours, in fact we were always waiting for the sign that we needed to go in for nap time, but she would rally until four o'clock and then we would decide we should head to the room and let the girls get a quick nap in before dinner

me and my little ladies had such a good time spending the week with our working man! :)
such a great time we all had!!! i miss the sunshine already! we met lots of great families while we there. it was fun to be at a place with fun adults and kids who were all there for the same reason...to soak up the sunshine and have a great time with their kids.
i would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a great sunny family vacation ..i'm already to go again!
ps-miss amelia has been packing her swim diaper around the house every since we got home, she keeps trying to get me to put it on her! if you ask her if she wants to go swimming she smiles really big and nods her head really fast! too cute...i take it she had a good time and wants to go back! :)
