sunshine weekend!!!

wasn't last weekend an awesomely sunny weekend?!  i was loving every second of it, i almost felt like i was in palm springs again! :)

friday the girls and i headed north to meet grandma, tiff, and gwynn for a zoo date.  it was a great day to be at the zoo!  there were animals out and about that i don't think i have ever seen...i guess they get spring fever just like us! :)  the highlight of the trip was seeing lily the baby elephant!  (sorry no pics of the baby girl).  i must say i was surprised at how small she was.
sisters...just looking cool at the zoo!!!
gwynn and miss e being silly on the tiger...
 checking his teeth! :)

this girl is so silly!  i look over at her and she is in the landscaped area putting grass in her ear! who would have thought that would be fun?! :)
that night miss e got to have a sleepover with gwynn...her first sleepover ever!  she was so excited about it and aunt tiff of course spoiled them with lots of fun things to do!  thanks again tiff for having the misses over, she LOVED it!!!

saturday it was off to rachel and colton's house to help with some yard projects.  the girls had so much fun playing outside together and petting chickens!  gwynn had this one chicken that she seemed to take a liking to and she chased that thing around all afternoon giving it pets!  ev and amelia weren't as successful with the chicken petting! :)
gwynn helping evelyn get in a little petting...
 gwynn the professional chicken pettier...
these three girls are so cute together, i love the spacing of their ages.  in fact as we were driving to rachel and coltons's and they were all three screaming and blowing spit bubbles on their faces and completely belly laughing at each other, i thought to myself...wow, this could be me in a few years!   umm, i'm not sure if brian is ready for that yet! :)
all the ladies...such a cute picture of smiley girls!
sunday while my mom watched my girlies and i headed downtown for breakfast and shopping date with my sisters!  it was so much fun to be in the city kid-less!  we tried out a new yummy breakfast spot in the pearl district and then did a bit of shopping!  it was the perfect end to a really fun and sunny weekend!
thanks sisters' for the great time!

ps-some of you having been following rachel and colton on their lasted journey, you can get more updates on lucy's blog.
