last weekend we ventured our for another camping weekend of fun with some friends of ours that brian went to high school with. they have four kiddos, but one was visiting grandma and grandpa for the weekend. the campground was only about 45 minutes from our house, right on the river, it was a perfect spot for kids to have fun!
one day we ventured up the highway and went on a super great hike called, house rock. it was the old wagon trial road so the grade was perfect for kid hiking. :)

brrr...the water was a tad bit cold, but it felt so good on our hot sweaty feet! :)

what a great relaxing weekend spent with friends! i dropped my camera in the waterfall, so the pictures from the weekend stop here! :) we also had a great time fishing for crawdads, swimming in the river and making banana boats by the fire!
