kindergarten!!!

this little cutie just finished her very first full week of kindergarten! 

 she did awesome the first week when she only went two days, but for some reason the second week was a little rough.  i think coming off a weekend of spending time with lots family it was a hard adjustment.  she shed just a few tears, but she didn't want anyone to know she was having to fight back tears.  such a tough girl.  amelia and i went and had lunch with her one day and that was fun to see her in action at school.   so impressed by how mature she seems.  the funny thing about her being a little upset is she tells me every day how much she LOVES school...i'm so glad she does!

i would be lying if i said i didn't miss her...i get so excited when its time to go pick her up, 7 1/2 hours is along time when your use to hanging out together all day! :)

backpack time...there is still some days that she doesn't eat any of her lunch, or maybe she will eat three carrots or two raspberries, she says there is just so many people in the lunch room and she is only use to eating with three other people.  seriously how cute is that?  i think that will change, but in the mean time she eats and eats and eats when she get home from school! :)

amelia has been adjusting pretty well with big sis being gone, the first few days were the hardest.  or the day we had lunch and played on recess she wanted to stay with sis.   i have been trying to keep her busy with playdates and mom dates, so far she has been doing better.

while sis is in school i have had fun spending time with this almost three year old!

she seems so much older to me now that evelyn is in school...i love the silly conversations we have, and the cuddle time we have been enjoying.  this girl has such a fun personality!  i'm trying to enjoy every second of this stage as i know that in just a few weeks i will have my hands full loving on another sweet girl! :)

fall is bringing lots of changes, but its all good change.  it might get a little crazy at times, but that's just the fun part, i think we already know "crazy" pretty well! :)
