double the fun!!!

miss evelyn has officialy doubled her size...she weighed in yesterday at 14.6 lbs! our tiny baby is

growing sooo fast!

evie and i had a sleepover with aunt sasa over the weekend. brian was salmon fishing all weekend on the ocean (see fishing pics in the post below), so we thought it was a great time to take a trip to seattle. sarah just recently moved to a condo in east lake which has a great view of lake union and is only a few miles from downtown. it was great being walking distance from downtown, we loaded up the stroller and spent the whole day enjoying the city. thanks aunt sasa for the awesome visit!

i think this mirror toy is the first toy i have bought for the little miss...it seems to be a big hit, she will stare at her self for hours in it and she just started reaching and pulling on the bugs. it must be pretty exhausting looking at yourself all day! i went into check on her the other day and she had fallen asleep! :)

we have a big weekend planned...we are heading to sweet home tomorrow to attend brian's uncle's funeral. i didn't know him very well, but brian has shared lots of great stories and memories with me about him...he will be missed by many. most of my family is going to be at my uncle's in summer lake for the weekend, so we figured since we were almost half way there we would head over that way as well. i know my aunt karen is really looking forward to meeting miss evie. evelyn will also get her first taste of the cowboy dinner tree as we have reservations there on friday night.
