Swan Island Dahlia Festival

look how cute gwynn is!

she was taking pictures of all the pretty flowers, while wearing her spicy backpack, she almost could pass for a tourist! :)

payton was more interested in the irrigation pipes then the flowers!

there was acres and acres of dahlia's in bloom...they are one of my favorite flowers. someday i would love to have a cut flower garden with lots of dahlia's.

brian was hunting/backpacking all weekend so evelyn and i decided to have a slumber party at grandma's. gwynn and payton even joined in on the fun while charlie and tiffany had a night to themselves celebrating her birthday. we picked blueberries, went to the dahlia festival, and did lots of playing.

gwynn had so much fun playing with evie over the weekend, she keep calling her her "sweetpea"...she is so sweet to her!

lucy stayed the night with us on friday, we had lots of fun spending time with her. it was almost like having a live in nanny, she is so good with evie and super helpful!

wish us luck...miss evelyn is sleeping in her crib tonight for the first time! i will keep you posted on how it goes...we are hoping for a full nights sleep! :)
