WOW...where does the time go, its hard to believe that our little sweetpea is already 5 months old. she is an absolute joy and we are enjoying all the new things she has been learning and trying!
a few of our favorite expressions of miss evie...
- the sound of the letter "z", every time we make the "zzzzzzzzzz" sound she laughs and goes crazy especially if you push the stroller really fast and crazy
- the hair dryer...i know it's super random, but she has loved the hair dryer since she was tiny. the minute it goes on she stops what she is doing and watches me very seriously until i turn it off.
- her toes...whats not to love about sucking on your big toe, especially when were trying to change her diaper.
- she has been sleeping through the night for about a month now, she normally likes to go to bed between 7 and 8 pm and then sleeps for around 10-12 hours. we are so lucky she likes to sleep like her mama and papa!
- big girl...i'm sure those cute checks give it away, but the girl loves to eat! she is wearing 9 month clothes already. in fact last weekend when we were visiting grandma she gave evelyn all of her christmas clothes because she thought she might ou grow them before christmas. and i have to say she is cute as a button in them and they are fitting just fine!!!
standing tall...
she has been enjoying sitting up...with assistance of course :)
the bird mobile...oh how she loves the bird mobile
she has been putting anything and everything into her mouth, except of course the bottle and pacifier. we still have not got her to take a bottle and she only took a pacifier for a month. on the positive side i guess that is one less thing we have to worry about weaning her from, but sometimes it would be nice if she took a bottle every know and then so i could have just a little tiny bit of a break. as brian would say, she LOVES mama!
another thing in my mouth...
and yet another...
last weekend i had a ton of fun making baby food for her. i made apple, pear, butternut and acorn squash. i purred it up and put it in those tiny jam jars we used at our wedding and froze them. brian and i both tasted it and it was yummy! in fact he was wondering if he could have some in his lunch, sure why not! she still has about a month until we start on solids, but i have this funny feeling that she is going to be a good eater.
i am looking forward to dressing her up for her first halloween, brian thinks she is too young but since her outfit is super comfy he is ok with it. :) can you guess what she is going to be? i will give you a hint...we use to call her it.
