today our little pumpkin turned 8 months and boy is she fun! she has made lots of strides over the last few weeks. the biggest one being that she has her first tooth!!! brian felt it last week and then i tried to to feel it and she wouldn't let me even get my finger close to her mouth! i knew there was a little tooth in there because when she drank water from a glass it made a ticking sound. :)
miss evie has also moved into her bigger car seat, and we had to lower her mattress in her crib. she is such a BUSY girl, scooting everywhere, although she only goes backwards. :) she is feeding herself pretty much everything that we eat and needs no help getting the food to her mouth...she is such an independent girl! she also like to say "mama" which of course i love!

we are off to swim class this evening and then we are heading to oregon for the weekend. brian has some work to do at osu on thursday and then we have his big 30th birthday bash friday night...i can't wait. i have had so much fun planning it and i can't wait to see everyone...thanks chad and ashley for hosting!!!

Such cute pictures! Have a fantastic weekend and tell Brian happy birthday for us!!!! I so wish that we were able to come to his party, it looks like it's going to be an amazing time (and TJ is of course jealous of all the boys who will have a chance to win a spot going fishing)! Can't wait to see pictures of the festivities on the blog :)
I want to see a picture of the tooth! Evie's smile is just contagious! I can't help but chuckle every time she "hams" it up for the camera. Too cute!
