it seems like this time of year we start getting cabin fever and can't wait for spring to get here! the last few weekends we have been out and about enjoying the wet oregon weather. last weekend we spent the day in portland and got in a nice muddy hike at forest park and this weekend we ventured over to cannon beach. the weather was wet as you would expect this time of year, but it was still good to get outside with the little miss and the pooch!
if you look real close you can see how wet our rain coats and faces are in this pic. it wasn't that bad if you were walking against the wind and rain, but if you walk against it you have to eventually turn around and walk into it! :)

there was more people on the beach then i expected, some were even in full rain gear!

we had a great lunch in cannon beach and then we hit up our favorite coffee shop in astoria on our way home...it was a perfect way to spend a rainy saturday!sitting like a big girl at the restaurant....
