we have been loving the spring weekends lately. in fact last weekend we actually stayed home and i think we spent most of our time outdoors working on projects. we got the yard and patio de-winterized (is that a word??), and started painting the exterior of the basement windows. the windows are one of our last projects on the house, it was just hard to get the motivation to start on a house project again. :)
miss evie loves being out side in the sunshine, her favorite things to play with our the dog food bowls, the dog leash, and the dirt in my pots! :)
we ventured our to the columbia river beach for a little picnic last sunday. i think evelyn had the best seat in the house...she couldn't stop laughing at allie swimming in the river.

this weekend i have another soccer game on saturday and then i'm running a 10k race on sunday in portland with some of my soccer friends...looks like its going to be another sunny spring weekend!!!
