...and were off!

we leave this afternoon on vacation for9 days to alaska! it has been a busy week getting ready for the trip. brian threw his back out on sunday, so he has been to the chiropractor everyday this week trying to get in tip-top shape for vacation. he is feeling better although they still don't want him doing anything strenuous like lifting suitcases or 25lbs kids! so looks like i will be carrying the misses on my back on lugging around suitcases. :) i'm just glad he is feeling good enough that he will be able to fish and have a good time. i'm just hoping he doesn't hook a big one and throw his back out again! :) the douglas family arrives tomorrow night in alaska and then we stay at coopers landing in a cabin for 5days and the the rest of the days we will be spending in anchorage visiting with my college girlfriend april and her family. she just had a baby on evie's birthday, so i'm looking forward to meeting the little guy. wish us luck on our travels and we will have lots of pictures to share when we return.
