were should i start??!! miss evie has been keeping me on my toes now that she is running everywhere. she loves to play in the dirt and rocks, in fact i think she prefers that over any of her toys. she has 4 bottom teeth, 2 top teeth, and i just noticed yesterday that she is getting two upper molars...that explains the crankiness. :) we are almost done nursing, i wanted to wait until after our move and trip to alaska to officially be done. she doesn't like to drink milk, not even chocolate or vanilla, so if any of you have any tricks up your sleeves i will take them. other then the milk she continues to be a good eater with frozen blueberries and cheese being her absolute favorite. eveyln has also stated feeding herself with a fork and spoon a little bit...i think more goes down her shirt then gets in her mouth, but i guess that it the process of learning. she has been talking a ton, not that i understand any of it, but it is sure cute to have a conversation with her. she has slowed down a bit in the growth department, i think at her one year appt. she was 23lbs which put her in the 80th percentile and her height put her in the 23rd percentile, by her stats you can see that she is a great eater! :) she loves playing patty cake and has recently started playing peek-a-boo. it is fun when they start getting things, she will peak around the corner at me waiting for my to see her, it is so cute! yesterday i told her that we were going to go "by by" so she went and got me my shoes and they even matched!
it seems that every stage brings more fun and new challenges, we just try to enjoy every bit of it because before you now it they will be too busy to want mom all time or cuddle on your lap. we are just lovin' her up!!!
ps-we had an awesome time in alaska and have lots of fun pictures to share. i will try and get them posted soon!
