snow day and play date...

we woke up to snow and ice this morning. not enough to make a snow man, but we had fun playing in it anyway.

since miss evie doesn't like to wear gloves, she gets cold hands quick! so we have to take lots of hot chocolate breaks! :)

last week we had a few errands to do in portland, they took a lot less time then i thought and evelyn slept the whole drive up. so we decided to spend a few hours playing at the children's museum. it was awesome because it was nap time for every other kid.

they have a new vet exhibit that was a hit for evelyn...

and then there is the grocery store, this is always a hit. notice evie had so many groceries she had to get a basket too!

i think i had a perma-grin on my face the entire time we were at the children's museum. i just couldn't believe everything she was acting out; grocery shopping, being a vet, etc. last time we were there she had just started walking, so she has came along way over the summer. i'm looking forward to more trips to the museum this winter, it is such a great indoor place for kids to play!
