sun and rain...

helping mom plant flower bulbs on a sunny fall day...

she loved to peel the skin off the bulbs...

later that evening i noticed she had two bulbs in her pockets...i guess she was going to save them for later. brian planted them the next day, but he won't tell me were. we will have to wait until spring to see were the two mystery bulbs pop up. :)

last weekend we went for a wet and mossy hike at the falls close to our house...

look at the moss on the bank, we even got wet standing here from the mist of the falls.
it started raining towards the end of our hike, luckily we weren't to far from the truck
i hope your enjoying the nice sunshiny days and also the grey rainy ones too!
ps-last friday brian dropped us off super early in the morning at the ranch (he was on his way to a timber sale in southern oregon). we had a great time visiting with dad and gale for the day. evie is obsessed with farm animals at the moment, so she loved "mooing" and "bokboking" all day. :) gale also had her grandson kayden (he is almost 4) out for the day. evie and him were so funny to watch. he would take her hand and try to get her to play with him. they rode bikes, played in the creek, had snacks together, etc. at one point he was chasing her around the house trying to put his camo hat on her. it was funny for awhile, but once he got it on her and the hat was covering her eyes and then he was pulling her around the house by the bill of the hat i think she was done with the camo hat game. i was dying laughing watching them...kayden has three older brothers, so its not very ofter that he gets to pick on someone littler then him. :) thanks for the fun play date kayden!!!
