our 22 month old sweet pea!!!

wow...it seems like it has been awhile since i have wrote much about what miss evelyn is up too. i think its just because she continues to charm and surprise us on such daily basis, that's it hard to stop and one remember it and two write about it! :) so here are a few pics of what our silly, giggly, and bossy girl have been up to.

notice her little white tea cup on the her table, she likes brian and i too sit at her table and drink tea with her. her aunt sasa is a big tea drinker, so i think that is were she picked it up. :)

evelyn loves her new life jacket so much that she likes to wear it instead of her coat!

shoes are another one of her favorite things to play with. in fact she is getting pretty good at walking in them and you all know how big my feet are!!! :)

i think she spends half her day on the counter cooking with me, its so nice to have a little helper and tester! :)

brian finally got her swing hung up! (thanks macdonald fam!) she loves it and wants to swing all the time even in all this rain we have been having!

we took the boat out last weekend and evelyn had a blast! she loves wearing her life jacket (thank goodness!) and says that the boat goes "zzzzzzz". we are going to have so much fun this summer swimming and fishing together in it!

miss evie has also started taking like crazy the last few weeks. she has basically become a parrot, so its hard to think of certain word she says because everyday she surprises us with more. i think my favorite is when she says "cookie" it just sounds so sweet. she also started putting a few words together, like "allie bark" and "dada's truck." today she started saying "me" and pointing to herself. its such a fun time as she learns so much everyday.

i would have to say that evelyn's three favorite toys are "d" (deer), EeEe (monkey), and "baby lala." she loves to change EeEe and baby lala diapers and dress them in her old clothes. she also likes to feed them and push them around in her stroller. sometimes i catch her swaying back and forth saying "shhhhh", she is such a little mama to her animals. "d" doesn't get that much treatment, he just makes everything better when she is sad and keeps her cozy at night and nap time. :)

we are still going to little gym in corvallis one day a week for class. she enjoys playing with the kids, swinging on the bars, and dancing. she also goes to a couple other play dates a week, so i can go to the gym and have some "mama" time. :) it has been a lot of fun to watch her interact with other kids, i don't think she is a bit shy, sometimes she can even be a little bossy. :) i'm still really enjoying my time at home with her, in fact i can't believe we are approaching her second birthday! what happened to my little tiny sweet pea??!!!

i hope you are all anticipating spring as much as we are...our bulbs have poked there heads out of the ground which means the sun and warm temperatures are just around the corner...yippee!
