the last few weekends we have been busy preparing for the holidays. we had two christmas parties to go last weekend and then spent most of the rest of the weekend wrapping presents. the weekend before last we went christmas tree hunting. evelyn is really into christmas (but not into santa!), so it has been lots of fun to enjoy all the christmas festivities with her.

evelyn thought we needed a tree for every room in the house...she thought this one would be perfect for baby sister's room! :)

i love this picture of her watching brian cut the tree down. brian is seriously evelyn's best friend! she asks him every night, "how many days of work?" she likes to count down the days of work until the weekend. :)
it was so cold out that miss amelia slept in the truck the whole time. i'm sure she will be ready to help pick out the tree next year!

brian left the day after thanksgiving for a 6 day hunt, so aunt lucy came down to stay with us and help with the girls. i think we did a good job of keeping her entertained with all our crazyness! thanks aunt lucy for all your help!!!!hopefully you are all enjoying the holidays this year. we have a lots of holiday fun to look forward too this week, so stay tuned for updates.
