the sit stage was bound to end! miss amelia baby thought her 10 month birthday (august 1st) was the perfect day to start crawling! yikes! i'm so happy for her that she is more mobile, but the sit stage is just so much easier. i think big sister liked the sit stage better too! little sister getting into big sisters toys is not going over so well! :)
she is still full of smiles! that is of course when she is not busy eating! :) this girl loves to eat! she still has no teeth, but manages to eat anything that she can get in her mouth with her little hands. (she still won't let you spoon feed her.) a few of her favorites being blueberries, salmon, rice, cheese, fig bars, smoothies, umm...basically anything! :)
she has recently started doing this really funny smile where she scrunches up her nose and squints her eyes...
while we were on vacation she started saying mama and dada. i love those first few words!
she still continues to be a good natured little miss, just with a little extra spice! i can't believe our next milestones will be walking and a first birthday...wowzers where days the time go?!
ps-i did it! i finally signed up for the eugene half marathon! it was always my goal to run it but my training this summer has been a bit sporadic. so i told my self if i could bust out two 10 mile runs and feel good i would do it. so bring it on baby, i'm ready for the 13.1! 2 weeks and 3 days until the big day! i can't wait!!!
