what better way to beat the 100 degree days then spending it on the lake!? and that is just what we did! i think we were at the boat ramp at 9:30am and didn't pull out until 4:30pm! the macdonald crew joined us for the day...evelyn loves hanging with her cousins!

look who fell asleep! she slept like this for over an hour. we just tucked her under the bow of the boat for shade. she had her little legs crossed in the water the whole time she was sleeping..too cute!
gwynn always wanted to ride back by the motor of the boat. this was on our way back to the dock after a long day of swimming. she was singing for awhile and then she eventually fell asleep sitting up! such a sassy little picture of miss gwynn...i love it!
i think next year we are going to be ready for a tube to pull behind the boat. this kiddos just love the water and i guess i do too! :)
