what a great holiday season we had! we had so much fun with our girls and all our great family for christmas and then we had a blast in sunriver with the douglas crew! but, for the last week we have be in a low...sickness has struck our household! :( first the girls and i came down with something and then dad finally came down with a new virus last night...ugh! it seems that the road to recovery will be a long one since none of us feel better yet. but we will be hopeful maybe the worst is over! in the meantime stay far away from us because you don't want this nasty bug and lets have some fun looking at christmas and new years (next post) pics! ;)
we do four rounds of christmas, so here is round one at grandma sherry's (my mom).

we hosted round two at our house, with my siblings and dad and gale. i made some salmon chowder (recipe) which seemed to be a hit and then we did a cookie/candy exchange for dessert. yummy!

miss e was so excited to leave santa and his reindeer their treats. in fact she even left a dish of water on the porch just in case the reindeer were thirsty! :) this year was by far my favorite! i love how into santa and christmas miss e was...so fun!!!

evelyn is crazy about her dog...here she is giving allie her new dog toys and treats! she was so exctied to shop for allie this year! :) every day since christmas she tells me that allie is so happy that she got her a new dog bed and new toys! too cute!
round four is at brian's parents house with his mom, dad, grandma and silblings. i always look forward to this stop because it is low key and super fun! brian's mom always puts on an awesome dinner that is very much enjoyed as well!
cousin time...love having makenzie and tyler be so much older them our kiddos because they are so much help! in fact makenzie is our new favorite baby sister! :)

what a great bunch of chirstmas's we had! the girls were of course spoiled with lots of new things and brian and i even got spoiled a bit! :) so thank you thank you to each and every one of you for making us feel so loved! we love you all and couldn't ask for better families to celebrate the holidays with!
