we had a little party last night to celebrate brian's birthday. miss e was the party planner! :) as most of you know she is super super into birthday parties. so, she requested that we decorate the house in valentines and make a fish cake that is orange in the middle with silver sprinkles. it wasn't until a few days after she requested the cake that i realized she was making a salmon cake, which happens to be her favorite fish to eat! so now i get it, the orange cake is the meat and the silver sprinkles are the scales! :) at the last minute she wanted to make some blue bubbles coming out of the fish's mouth!

i have to admit its nice having a little party planner! she tells me her ideas and then i can have fun with it. the cake was orange flavored with orange butter cream frosting...tasted a bit like a orange creamcicle! it was yummy!!!
and just in case your wondering miss e already has her 4 year old birthday planned out. i love listening to her tell me about it, she has such a creative little mind!
