fun week!

what a busy fun week we had!  we don't have a lot of organized commitments  in the summer, so that gives us lots of freedom to play during the week!  one day we ventured down to the ranch for the day.  it was a pretty low key day...rides in the tractor and mule, checking for eggs, feeding the cows, and playing in the irrigation sprinklers and just hanging out with grandpa!

the girls and grandpa in the tractor...evelyn has never been a super big fan of the tractor, but when she saw amelia literally trying to climb up the tire to get in, she decided she wanted to go too! :)
miss e loves watching the calves nurse....
its a little hard to see, but this was the cutest view through the window...grandpa with his girls!
we then went on a little work trip with dad!  eagle crest in redmond was the destination...we had lots of fun playing in bend for the day and swimming in the pools at the resort!
the day we were going to head home brian got invited to play a round of golf at Brasada Ranch, so the girls and i got to play and swim.  it was by far the highlight of our trip.  amazing place with an incredible swimming pool!
see that big yellow water slide in the background....amelia went down that all by herself!  in fact one time she was even backwards on her belly...she is such a crazy brave girl!
we got home late friday night and realized we had lots of catch up at home to do, but that didn't stop us from checking out a super cool hike close to b'ville.
lots of pretty views!  brian even did a little double duty with a pack on the front and a kid on the back! :)

 my little love bugs!
miss e is able to last longer and longer every time we hike!
and the highlight of the weekend was the poultry swap at the brownsville park!  only in b'ville you would find a poultry swap, but i would have to say it was pretty awesome and the girls loved it!

amelia was cracking us up, trying to get as close as she could to them!
we have another crazy month ahead of us, but isn't that what summer is all about?!  as my dad would say, "we have been burning the candle at both ends lately!"
happy summer!!!

ps-july catch up is next...i promise! :)
