a few weeks back we squeezed in a visit to the rose garden on our portland visit. the roses were in full bloom and absolutely gorgeous! the girls had lots of fun smelling them and picking out their favorites! :)

aunt sas even met up with up for a quick stroll...
then we hiked up the hill to the Japanese garden to see the koi fish in the pond...
apparently they tap a stick on the dock when its feeding time, well the girls were jumping on the dock and the fish thought it was the sound of feeding time! so, they were fairly popular with the fish! :)
we love our trips to the city, but still always love coming home to the country!!!
