this last term of preschool each parent had to come up with an activity for the class. not sure how we ended up with this idea, but we picked trout fishing at a local farmers pond and banana boats over the campfire for snack. it was a gorgeous sunny day, and the hubby and grandpa paul were there to help bait hooks and make sure every kid caught a fish.
evelyna and amelia trying to catch a big one...
ev's buddy graddy watching brian get his hook ready...
lauren got the first catch of the day!
evelyn with her trout! brian was actually really impressed at how big the fish were...i don't think they get fished much. :)
miss addlynn got a bit wet while fishing...poor girl!
grandpa helping a preschooler get his catch off the hook...
hamish looking like a proud fisherman!
girlfriends!!!!
such a fun day!
i didn't get as many pictures as i would have liked, but trying to organize 17 preschoolers and siblings around a pond with sharp hooks kept me busy! :) the banana boats were a hit too, but once again i was the chef of those so no time for pics! :) all in all it was a success, everyone caught fish and they had a tasty treat around the campfire with their friends.
