first haircut!!!

while we were in portland last week, i took miss evelyn to get her very first haircut! it was time to even up some of the shaggy ends. her hair was at a point were it was hard to leave down because it would just get bigger and bigger. :) she was totally excited about getting her hair cut, in fact at one point she was driving the pink car that she sat in so crazily, i though she was going to rip the steering wheel off. i guess she was just excited! :)

they took off about 1-2 inches to even it all up and i was surprised how much curl she had left. i wonder if she will always have a little curl in the back...

all in all it was a super fun time, and miss e gets really smiley if you ask her about her hair cut. :) they sent us home with a cute picture in a card with a little hair curl attached.

on a different note but still hair related, evelyn has been into wearing my head bands, but she has a hard time getting them on so it ends up looking like a bandanna, maybe it even looks a little "rambo" like. i swear some days she keeps me laughing all day...such a funny girl!!!

ps-i forgot to mention in my last post that evie has a new name for her cousin payton. last week while we were in portland she keep saying "peeete" and i couldn't figure out what she was saying. well, "pete" means payton and sometimes she even likes to call him "petie"

i love the nick names kids come up with!!! :)
