we spent a couple sunny days at the ranch last weekend. i love spring time at the ranch, baby calfs, lots of green fields, and if your lucky like we were you might even get sunshine!
this cow had a calf right before we arrived, and here my dad is milking the mama because the utters were too big for the calf's mouth. :)
getting his first taste of milk and let me tell you this little calf gulped it down!

i think the calf wanted to load up in the mule with evelyn and the dog :) 
evelyn loved climbing on the coral gates and checking out the gold fish in the watering troff...

one of dad and gale's grandsons had out grown this motorized truck, so they brought it out for the younger ones to drive. evelyn loved it, especially with her dog loaded up in the back (allie didn't really care for it!) 
as always another great time at the ranch, visiting with family and enjoying the outdoors...thanks dad gale!
