the growing belly at 20 weeks...
crazy to think that i'm already half way done with my pregnancy. i'm 21 weeks (the pic above was from mothers day) and lately i have been feeling pretty good. i think my hardest thing is learning to slow down. i forget sometimes that mowing the lawn, mopping the floors, and going to work out class is a little to much for this prego mama! :) it always hits me the next day and then i wonder why i'm always so tired. other then the tiredness, we are growing right along, must be all this spring rain were getting!this is the reaction miss evelyn gave me when i said i wanted to get a picture of her and me for mothers day...i don't think she was into it! :)
i did get a kiss and a big hug out of her which melted my heart...its so fun being a mama!
i also got spoiled on mothers day with a yummy brunch at our local cafe, lots of new flowers for my front porch, a stormy boat ride (thank goodness for the top and heater!) and an awesome dinner with brian's family. i hope all you mama's out there got spoiled as well, because i know you all deserve it!speaking of growing season, we have lots things growing around out house besides my belly. :) my raspberries and blueberries (thanks paul and tony for the early birthday present) have lots and lots of buds on them. we can't wait to pick them this summer. evelyn and i checked out all the awesome garden starts at the farmers market this weekend, but we are still waiting for our super wet ground to dry out so we can till it. even though we didn't buy any garden starts, we managed to eat our way through the market! :)
out little sweet pea is also growing like crazy! her pants and shirts seem to be getting too short and her favorite thing to say is "me do!" i can't believe how independent our little miss is and that she is going to be two on friday! wow, where does the time go? i would have to say it has been the funnest two year ever...she brings so much joy to brian and i!
and last but not least the salmon are also growing in full force. brian has been doing lots of salmon fishing on the multnomah channel and i can't believe how big the salmon are that he has been bringing home. i think its the best salmon i have ever tasted! brian's response to his latest catch is "it feels good to get some blood in the boat!" it must be a boy thing!!! i'm looking forward to a suntan in the boat! :)

Hooray for the growing belly! You look fabulous (no surprise there). Glad that you had a good Mother's Day with Miss Evelyn. Can't wait to see more pictures of your cute pregnant self as your new baby girl keeps growing.

OMG! First, Mike said the same exact thing! But since we haven't caught anything yet it was more like "I need to get some g** d*** blood in the boat!" LOLOL! Second, you look beautiful! I love your outfit, your hair looks great and your belly is adorable! You make such a cute pregnant lady! Great pics and I am glad you had such a fabulous day. Miss you!
