tulip festival...

a few weeks ago the little lady and i made a trip up north to the tulip festival. it was a great day full sunshine and lots of colorful tulips.

aunt lucy even joined in on the fun!

evelyn always wanted to check out the inside of the tulips...not sure what she was looking for! :)

the horse swing was a big hit with the kids...

this was a really cool activity for the kids, you would pump the water pump which would put water in a slopped gutter and it would wash your rubber ducky into the watering troughs. the kids played here forever and even got a little wet. :)

i love MUD!!! this boy laid in the mud forever playing. he would swoosh this leaf he found back and forth in the muddy water. who knew mud and a leaf could be so fun! :)
