evelyn turns two!!!

last saturday we celebrated miss evelyn turning two! we had a forest friends party since she is really into deer and owls. the weather held out for us and the food was super yummy. we had a great time celebrating our little lady with our family.

its my birthday!
we got evelyn a new swing set for the backyard for her birthday, it was a hit with the kids!

once she saw the stroller, she wasn't that interested in opening any more presents. she just wanted me to go get "EeEe" (monkey) and baby so she could push them in her stroller. :)

luckily her cousins were great at helping with the presents...

lucy and i made these owl cupcakes. you use oreos and junior mints for the eyes, half an oreo for the ears and banana runt for the beak...miss e loved them!!! (thanks tiff for the idea!)

the spread...we paired all this with lots of yummy salmon and steel head...thanks to brian for all his recent fishing success! :)

i blew up the forest friends pictures from evelyn's invite and made lots of little critters to hang around the house.

what a party! thanks to everyone who made it such a success! i'm starting to really like having my birthday close to evelyn's because it is like a whole week of parties and celebrating. i had so much planning her party that i almost forgot about my own. :)

i think miss evelyn is really really loved by all her friends and family, she got so many awesome gift and a whole new wardrobe to sport this summer...she is a lucky girl! thanks again to everyone for making her birthday so special...we love you all!!!!
