we spent the memorial weekend at diamond lake, it was cold and snowy, but also gorgeous and refreshing. the lake was froze over the week before we got there, so we were just glad that we could put the boat in the water and do a little fishing.

i felt so bad that neither tanner or easton caught any fish. :( brian and i ended up catching a total of 5 fish, but of course we didn't catch any while the douglas boys were there...next time we will get them!aren't evelyn and lila cute in their matching owl hats from auntie april??!!!

all in all it was a great weekend to get away and enjoy the outdoors with some great friends. but i have to say that i'm still looking forward to some sunny camping trips this summer. i hear the sun is going to be out this weekend, i can't wait!!!
