ok seriously do we look young in this picture or what??!!! this was taken at the douglas house the first month we were dating (march of 2004). take a good look at the cute shirt i have on. it was one of my favorites back in the day, it was a black jersey shirt with an embellished purple flower on it. super cute and also really comfortable which is totally my style. it was also one of those shirts that just kept getting shorter and shorter, i tried to wear it with a long tank top under it, but that didn't really work out. so this last winter i decided to part with it and gave it to my sister to give to one of her girlfriends that i thought it would fit. and you are not going to believe what she did with it!
yep, that's my super cute shirt that is now resting on my sofa! i was totally surprised when she gave me this pillow for for my birthday, i absolutely LOVE it!!!!

so, if any of you have a really cute shirt that just isn't working out anymore, know you now what to do with! thanks again sweets for making my favorite shirt have a new life! :)on a little different note, evelyn and i have been spoiled this week by having my sisters in town. miss e had so much fun playing with her aunties all week. it fact aunt lucy painted her toe nails for the first time ever, and she couldn't stop looking at them and saying, "lucy, paint, toeies". we had a great time celebrating sarah's birthday on tuesday and then just had lots of girl sister time. it really makes me excited to meet our baby "lala", evelyn is such a lucky girl to have a sister because i think they are the best things in the world!!!
i hope you all get outside today to enjoy some of this gorgeous sunshine...i think summer might be on its way!!!
