we are getting closer and closer to meeting our little misses! my belly is measuring a little small due to the babies head being so far down in my pelvic area....i think she is ready! my cervix is soft and 1cm dilated, but we have a ways to go. i'm so thankful that we have ac with the recent heat wave, i wasn't pregnant with evelyn in the summer, so pregnancy and heat has been new to me. last weekend we went to the coast crabbing for the day and it was 55 degrees, while the valley was 95! the oregon coast is a perfect place for a hot prego mama! :)
evelyn has been asking to feel the baby kick all the time. she tells me that brian is her best friend not mama because i have a baby in my belly. :) she helped me get most of the baby gear out last weekend, which she thoroughly enjoyed. she surprises me everyday with the sweet things she says and does for her baby sister.
i think we are as ready as we can be, although we still don't have a name finalized. i know we will leave the hospital with a name, so we might just have to wait until we meet her to decide. :) now that i'm going to the doctor every week, i will try and keep you posted weekly on the progress. for know we will just play the waiting game and enjoy our time with the misses big sister!

Getting so close!!! Can't wait to hear when your sweet baby arrives (and see pictures, of course)! Hope you're feeling good in these last days of pregnancy.
So exciting!! September babies are the best! ;) Oh, and I hear you about the heat. I thought I was going to die this weekend! I don't know how you are doing it 9 months pregnant!
