what an incredible weekend of sunshine, good food and lots of great time spent with friends and family! the party was amazing, thanks to everyone who made the anticipated arrival of miss sweetpea so special...we feel loved!!!!lucy and sarah made the owl on the log, it took them 6 hours to sew!!!

i picked wendi and her two super cute boys up at the airport on friday and then we headed to corvallis to meet up with nonnie and grandpa bill (her mom and dad). they watched the boys for her over the weekend and she took advantage of some wendi time. we got pedicures and then went to happy hour, i indulged on dessert and she had a few spirts! thanks wens for such a fun day you deserved it!!! kat also has two boys, so i think miss sweetpea is going to have to fun wrestling and playing trucks with them, i think they will keep her well rounded!

Thanks for all the wonderful and thoughtful gift. I think brian was a little overwhelmed when he saw the pile of presents to load into his truck! We received many very special handmade and useful presents, I also think miss sweetpea might even have a better wardrobe then me! I can't wait for you all to meet her, I think she is loved by many all ready! We feel very fortunate to have such an amazing group of friends and family!

The shower looks like it was wonderful. Wish I had been able to be there for all of the fun! I LOVE the quilt that your family made (and the owl and the flags too). So cute!!

love all these pics! i have some cute ones too and will try to get them to you soon. i may have to stay up later one night and get ontop of it :) so excited for the little one. she is missing from our pictures of babies!!!!!!! so excited for all of our kids to grow up together. seriously, i would love for you to be easton's mother in law. i know that might be asking a bit much but the last name douglas almost goes with anything :) love kat
